On Saturday, November 25th you can walk off that extra helping of Turkey stuffing or pumpkin pie by hiking the trails at the Pocasset Ridge Conservation Area or Pardon Gray Preserve.  At 1 pm, Garry Plunkett will lead hikers on a vigorous outing on some moderate slopes at the Pocasset Ridge Conservation Area.  The newly opened trails will allow those in good physical to experience an amazing forest ecosystem.  Meet at the trailhead parking area, 2910 Main Road.  Dress to the weather, with a fluorescent orange vest/hat if possible.  (Vests will be available on site.)  No pets please.

Families with young children can enjoy the same outdoor experience along less rugged trails at Pardon Gray Preserve.  Meet Wayne Browning at 2 pm, November 25th at the parking area along Main Road for a hike along the Cemetery, Ridge, and Lafayette trails.  This trail loop will bring hikers back to the parking area in about 45 minutes.  Sturdy footwear is recommended.  Wear fluorescent orange if you have it.  (vests will be provided on site)  No pets please
