• Tonight is the night! Bring your dancing shoes! We look forward to seeing everyone at our Hoedown Fundraiser starting at 6pm. 

    Reminder: this is a fundraiser! All proceeds from the Hoedown will directly support the effort to conserve the Hicks Farm property forever.

    Just a few friendly reminders, since we have received some questions.

    • The event runs from 6pm to 9pm, rain or shine under our big tent at Pardon Gray Preserve. "Doors" open at 6:00pm. It is not permitted to arrive early to stake out a spot. 

    • The address is 3228 Main Rd. Tiverton, RI

    • Bring Cash and/or Credit Card to purchase food and beverages. We will have a 50/50 raffle as well which is cash only. 

    • Walk-in entry tickets will be available for purchase at the door (cash or credit) for your friends who haven't purchased tickets in advance!

    • Free parking will be available in our field. Our parking attendants will direct you to a space when you arrive. Accessible parking spaces will be available. If you need an accessible space, please show your placard to an attendant, and they will direct you to a spot.

    • This is an 18 or older event.  

    • No dogs are permitted unless they are service dogs.

    • No outside food or drinks are permitted. We will have beer (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), wine, spiked cider, Spindrift flavored sparkling water and plain sparkling water available for purchase. Two food trucks, Tacofied and South County Barbeque, will also be present; food will be available for purchase. 

    • There will be plenty of tables and chairs set up for eating and socializing. If you wish, you may bring your own folding chairs for use outside of the tent area.

    • We will also have a Silent Auction with many local items up for bid including gift certificates to local farms, wineries, breweries, a round of golf at a private golf club, tickets for a local live music venue and an arts experience with a local artist.

The Jethros band, Stoney Hollow Bar Company from The Beer Field serving up Ragged Island Tiny Truck IPA on draft, mouth watering eats... GET READY FOR A GOOD TIME FOR A GOOD CAUSE!

Admission is $25. 18+ only. Non-alcoholic drinks, beer, wine, spiked cider and food will be available for purchase. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, free samples from ISCO Liquors, and more!

All proceeds raised from this event will go directly towards saving Hicks Farm as green space for all. If we succeed in conserving this property, it will be open to the public for passive recreation. Located across from Tom's Market on Main Rd, the 48.8 acres go all the way down to Mount Hope Bay, with 1,350ft of pristine shoreline. 

Just imagine hiking through luscious green forest trails and suddenly seeing sparkling water through the branches, then feeling the ocean breeze as you emerge onto the shore and look directly across to Mount Hope. This can become a reality, but we need everyone's support! 

There are currently zero acres of conserved public green space in Tiverton north of Route 24. This is a historic, critical, and necessary opportunity for our town.

6:00pm - 7:00pm: Kicking it off with MC Michael Cordeiro who will bring the energy! TLT President Pam Thompson will also share a few words about the Hicks Farm project. Grab a refreshment served up by Stoney Hollow Bar Company, coming over from The Beer Field in Adamsville. Participate in the 50/50 raffle and get ready to party! Fuel up with some mouth watering eats from South County Barbecue and Tacofied.

7:00pm - 9:00pm: The Jethros band plays! Dance your heart out, grab another beverage and bite to eat, and check out the silent auction! Grab a free sample from ISCO Liquors and look at the stars over the field of Pardon Gray Preserve.
